Bill is an “out of network” provider, where you pay at the time of service, but he will provide you with proper paperwork to receive insurance reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company to find what reimbursement coverage you may receive. In a “high tech, low touch” world, Bill prefers to be low tech and high touch, taking time with each patient instead of choosing a high volume practice.
Medicare covers acupuncture for chronic low back pain, but cannot reimburse acupuncturists who do not have an MD/physician supervisor. You may find an acupuncturist working in a hospital system that can accept Medicare coverage.
An initial evaluation and treatment is 90 minutes long and costs $165.00; subsequent visits last 60 minutes and cost $95.00 per visit.
